A North Massapequa man has been arrested for allegedly robbing a bank in Bethpage.
On October 6 at 2:18 pm., Philip V. Ferrito Jr, 44, of 26 Margaret Road entered TD Bank, located at 145 Stewart Avenue, approached the teller and allegedly presented him with a note demanding money. The teller, in fear for his life, complied and Ferrito allegedly fled the scene.
After a thorough investigation, Ferrito was located and placed under arrest without incident. Ferrito was charged with Robbery in the Third Degree. He was arraigned on October 7 at First District Court in Hempstead.
