
A Garden City man wanted by Nassau County police was arrested for allegedly setting a car on fire in Mineola.
On September 27 at 4 a.m., Glenn Annesley, 62, of 1 Flower Road, entered a 2011 Toyota which was parked in the vicinity of Herricks Road and Jackson Avenue and allegedly set the vehicle on fire. He then fled from the scene. The vehicle sustained significant damage. There were no injuries reported.
Annesley was located at an area hospital at 4:00 p.m. and was placed under arrest without incident.
Police charged Annesley with Arson in the Third Degree and had three active Nassau County warrants. He will be arraigned once he is released from the hospital.
