Levittown Man Arrested for Allegedly Pulling Fire Alarm

A Levittown man has been arrested after he allegedly pulled a fire alarm.

On August 28 at 11:33 a.m., Connor McCoy allegedly intentionally pulled the fire alarm inside Nassau County Supreme Court, located at 100 Supreme Court Drive in Mineola, without cause.  As a result, the building was evacuated.

The investigation determined McCoy, 19, of 53 Water Lane North, was responsible. Detectives responded to his residence, where he allegedly became violent and combative.  While attempting to place McCoy under arrest, he allegedly bit a detective on his right forearm. The detective was evaluated and treated at a local hospital.

Defendant McCoy is charged with Falsely Reporting an Incident in the First Degree, Assault in the Second Degree and Resisting Arrest. He was scheduled to be arraigned on August 29 at First District Court in Mineola.
