A fire ripped through an establishment in Seaford and destroyed six boats at a nearby marina.
On August 21 at 9:23 p.m., Nassau County officers responded to Crabby Amy’s, located at 2880 Ocean Avenue within the Treasure Island Marina. Upon arrival, officers observed the building fully engulfed in flames. The Wantagh Fire Department and neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames.
Additionally, six unoccupied boats that were docked nearby were damaged from the fire.
The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. No injuries were reported and no criminality is suspected at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
