Man Wanted for Showing Firearm to 17-Year-Old

A man is wanted for a menacing incident that occurred in Roosevelt.

On August 18 at 6:00 p.m., a 17-year-old male was allegedly approached by an unknown man at Roosevelt High School located at 1 Wagner Avenue. After a verbal argument, the man then allegedly lifted his shirt and exposed the handle of a black firearm that was tucked into his waistband. The man then told the victim to wait for him in the parking lot. The victim, in fear for his life, ran from the scene and police were notified. The man then left the scene on foot and was last seen walking southbound on Denton Place.

The man is described as a Hispanic male, mid 30’s to 40’s, approximately 5’9” and 220 pounds.
