The Second Squad are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the man who allegedly stole a tip jar in Jericho in August.
On August 10 at 1:30 p.m., Nassau County Second Precinct police responded to Beyond Bagels located at 523 North Broadway after a male worker called to report that the store’s tip jar was allegedly missing that contained approximately $100. After an investigation it was determined that an unknown subject did enter the store and removed the proceeds before fleeing on foot in an unknown direction.
The subject is described as male, black, medium build, 6’0”, black hair and beard/goatee, wearing a white t-shirt, black sweat pants, gray shoes and yellow socks.
