Nassau County police from the Eighth Squad are searching for a male who allegedly attacked another man and stole his e-bike.
On July 28 at 3:25 a.m., a 31-year-old male victim was leaving 7-11, located at 11 East Old Country Road in Hicksville, when he was approached from behind by an unknown male subject who allegedly struck him in the head with a blunt object. The subject then allegedly took the victim’s e-bike and fled the scene westbound on East Old Country Road. A Nassau County Police Department Ambulance transported the victim to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
