
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Fifth Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the man who allegedly punched a woman in the face in Bellport.
On July 13 at approximately 3:10 p.m., a man riding an electric scooter reportedly followed a vehicle from Station Road to Farber Drive. When the vehicle, driven by a 45-year-old woman, pulled into a parking lot on Farber Drive, the man began banging on her window.
The woman exited the car, at which point the man allegedly punched her in the face. Her two children were in the vehicle at the time of the assault.
The suspect is known to ride his electric scooter throughout Bellport and on the Long Island Expressway.
