Two remarkable stats were shared by Andrew Arthur of the Center for Immigration Studies.
Since Donald Trump came into office and clamped down the border and stepped up ICE enforcement, there has been an estimated one million illegal aliens in the country who have self-deported.
Meanwhile, statistics released from the federal government indicate that wages are increasing at a very healthy pace over the past few months.
It’s hardly a coincidence. In fact, it proves what critics of illegal immigration have warned us for decades. Looking the other way as millions of unskilled workers flooded our land was an invitation to depress wages for hardworking Americans. And now we have the evidence.
America’s economic elites benefited by this cheap labor, but millions of middle- and working-class Americans saw their quality of life suffer as a result of illegal immigration.
So why does the mainstream media continue to paint a narrative that it is inhumane to enforce our immigration laws?
