
Nassau County police from the Sixth Squad are investigating a fatal car crash that took place in Manhasset.
On June 19 at 5:22 a.m., Sixth Precinct Officers responded to Quaker Meeting House, located at 1421 Northern Boulevard, for a car that went into a building. Upon arrival, police observed a 2000 Ford Edge fully engulfed in flames. The Manhasset Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire. The male driver was pronounced dead at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.
The building was unoccupied and sustained substantial structural damage. The investigation is ongoing.
