Israel’s Fight Is Our Fight in Stopping Iran’s Nukes

As Israel engages in an effort of survival in seeking to take out Iran’s nuclear buildup, many in America are ambivalent about the U.S. getting too involved with Israel’s activities.

Even within the Republican Party, there is now a split between those who want to assist Israel in ridding the planet of this Iranian threat, and those who want to be more cautious for the fear of being dragged into another foreign war.

Let’s say it upfront: No one wants war. The question is how to best prevent it.

Neville Chamberlain didn’t want war with the Nazis. He came back in the late 30s waving a paper in his hand that was signed by Adolf Hitler, claiming that he had preserved peace in our times. How did that work out?

Fifty million dead bodies later, it was clear that Chamberlain’s isolationist naivete led to mass carnage.

Snuffing out evil early on in the process winds up saving lives. Often millions of lives.

We are bewildered by those who believe that, if Iran gets nukes, their first and only target would be Tel Aviv.

Think again.

New York, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles are equally in the sights of these crazy religious fanatics.

Why such a concern over Iran, as opposed to the many other nuclear powers throughout the world? It’s because those other powers are not suicidal. They know if they ever launched a nuclear attack against a western democracy, it would spell their doom. The crazy, fanatical Mullahs of Iran don’t seem to be deterred by potential death. In fact, it’s their goal to die as martyrs.

They are in a constant war against the infidels, anyone who does not believe as they do in the teachings of the Quran.

Once Iran refines its nuclear materials to weapons-grade, they can produce many such bombs in a short period of time.

BY THEN, IT’S TOO LATE!

A strike after they have a nuke could result in a nuclear strike from the Iranians. Get them now while they’re weakened.

This is not a case of U.S. forces putting boots on the ground, as in Iraq or Afghanistan.

This isn’t about regime change, though Israel’s pinprick bombings could potentially lead to that.

This is stopping a tyrannical hostile enemy that has named America “The Big Satan” from developing a bomb they almost certainly would use against us. And don’t think they need sophisticated intercontinental ballistic missiles to do so. The more likely scenario would be for Iran to ship out its nuclear weapons to rogue actors, who would do the dirty work possibly by smuggling one within the U.S. border (something that thankfully is a little tougher to do now that Joe Biden is out of the White House).

So it’s important for all Americans of all parties to understand that Israel’s fight is our fight.

They have been willing to put their lives on the line. They have no other choice. They’re doing a lot of the tough work for us. Let’s not run from them. Let’s help them finish the job and prevent these crazy religious zealots from getting weaponry that can kill millions of Americans in a matter of seconds.
