JVC Broadcasting Receives Top Honors

Awarded for Best Spanish-Language Radio Report, Best News Radio Station

JVC Broadcasting was honored at the June 5 Press Club of Long Island awards ceremony as the radio station company was recognized for Best Spanish-Language Radio Report and Best News Radio Station.

En Vivo 1440 AM and 93.3 FM was recognized with two major awards given by the Press Club of Long Island. These awards celebrate Long Island En Vivo’s mission to serve the region’s Hispanic and Latinx communities through trusted reporting and culturally connected storytelling.

“Thank you to every listener, to our team, and to everyone who believes in the power of radio,”  said En Vivo’s midday host, Diana Torres.

In addition, LI News Radio 103.9’s Bob Vecchio was honored at the Press Club Awards Dinner for his outstanding work on “Spotlight on Long Island Schools.” The long-running program, now in its eighth year, continues to highlight the achievements, voices, and issues that shape Long Island’s education landscape.

“It’s been an absolute joy producing this show over the past eight years,” said Vecchio. “I’m incredibly thankful to JVC Broadcasting for their support, and especially to Joe Adlemann and Sebastiano Filippi for their dedication and excellence in making the show sound great every week.”
