Man Arrested for Allegedly Making Terroristic Threats to Children

A Seaford man was arrested for allegedly making terroristic threats to a group of children at a local elementary school.

On May 15 at 6:10 p.m., Nassau County officers from the Seventh Squad responded to the Seaford Harbor Elementary School, located at 3500 Bayview Avenue for a disturbance. When they arrived, Michael Marron, 66, of 2608 Island Channel Road, was allegedly yelling terroristic threats and shouting obscenities at children on school grounds during their sporting events, placing them in fear for their safety.

After a thorough investigation, Marron was located at his residence and placed under arrest without incident.

Police charged Marron with two counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Making Terroristic Threats. He is scheduled to be arraigned on May 17 at First District Court in Hempstead.
