Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that killed a motorcyclist in Brentwood.
On May 11, Susan Guerrero was driving a 2007 Honda Accord northbound on 5th Avenue and attempted to make a left-hand turn into a parking lot near Candlewood Road when she collided with a 2005 Kawasaki Ninja being operated by Jose Morales, who was driving southbound on the same road at 11:58 a.m.
Morales, 62, of Bay Shore, was pronounced dead at the scene. Guerrero, 18, of Bay Shore was not injured.
Both vehicles were impounded for safety checks. Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to contact the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
