Flavored Vape Products Found at Garden City South Store

A Queens man was arrested after Nassau County police found flavored vapes in his Garden City South store.

On May 6 at 5:44 p.m., officers assigned to the Fifth Precinct Problem Oriented Police Officers Unit conducted an investigation targeting the sale of flavored vape products being sold at Grand Kratom Smoke Shop located at 34 Nassau Boulevard. During the investigation, officers observed several flavored vape products displayed for sale. An assortment of flavored vape products packaged for purchase were recovered.

As a result of the operation, the store manager, Muhammad Mazhar, 27, of 12002 153rd Street, Jamaica, was charged with a Violation for Sale of Age Restricted products and Sale of Flavored Products Prohibited. He was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket returnable to First District Court in Hempstead on May 29.
