Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating the stabbing of a teenager at a park in Brentwood.
The victim, accompanied by two other teenage males, was sitting in a wooded area at the southern end of Roberto Clemente Park, located at 400 Broadway, when they were approached by four males, who punched and hit the victim. When two of them displayed knives, the victim’s friends ran to get help.
When police arrived, they found the male victim, 16, with multiple stab wounds to his back. He was transported via police helicopter to a hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
