Nassau County Eighth Squad Detectives are asking for the public’s help in finding a male who allegedly committed a lewd act in front of a minor in Hicksville.
On April 30 at 11:15 a.m., a 13-year-old girl was walking eastbound on 4th Street in the vicinity of Jerusalem Avenue when she observed a grey Nissan Rogue parked on the corner of 4th Street and Division Avenue. The victim observed the male driver make a U-turn and travel eastbound on 4th Street. As the subject slowly passed the victim, he allegedly made continuous eye contact with her and eventually stopped in the vicinity of Jerusalem Avenue. As the victim walked past the vehicle, the subject allegedly exposed and inappropriately touched himself inside the vehicle. The suspect then fled westbound on 4th Street.
The subject is described as a white male, approximately 40 years old, bald, with a brown scruffy beard and a medium build.
