Lindenhurst Man Arrested for Allegedly Possessing Child Porn

Suffolk County Police arrested a Lindenhurst man for alleged possession of child pornography and promoting a sexual performance of a child.  

Following a tip from the New York State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, Suffolk County Police Digital Forensics Unit detectives conducted an investigation into Brian Woehr and executed a search warrant at his home, located at 191 North 9th St., on April 30 at 8:16 p.m. Several electronic devices were seized and numerous images containing child pornography were allegedly found.  

Woehr, 40, was charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child and Possession of a Sexual Performance of a Child Under 16, both felonies. He was held overnight at the First Precinct and scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on May 1.
