Fire Burns down South Farmingdale House

Nassau County police are still trying to determine what caused a fire at a South Farmingdale residence.

On April 20 at 2:45 p.m., officers responded to a residential fire on Crestwood Boulevard. Upon arrival, they observed that the residence was fully engulfed in flames. The South Farmingdale Fire Department and multiple surrounding fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The Nassau County Fire Marshal and Arson Bomb Squad also responded to the scene.

The home sustained extensive damage due to the fire. No injuries were reported at the scene.

The fire has been deemed not suspicious at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
