Nassau County Arson Bomb Squad detectives are investigating the cause of a fire that broke out in a home in Island Park.
On March 17 at 1:49 a.m., Fourth Precinct officers responded to a fire that occurred on Sunset Avenue. Upon arrival, officers observed a residential home fully engulfed in flames.
The Island Park Fire Department, along with other local fire departments, responded to extinguish the flames.
The investigation is ongoing.
