Nassau County police are investigating an assault that took place between two women in Uniondale.
in a red Honda Accord.
On December 20, at approximately 6:30 p.m., a 22-year-old female victim exited Walgreens located at 603 Uniondale Avenue, and was about to enter an Uber car when a Black female subject allegedly approached her. The unknown subject allegedly shoved the victim to the ground, causing injuries to her hand, and then punched her in the face, causing significant pain. After a verbal argument, the suspect left, got into a red Honda Accord, and exited the parking lot, heading west on Jerusalem Avenue.
The subject was described as a Black woman with short black hair and wearing a black sweatshirt, black leggings, and tan boots.
