Congressman Hosts Tele-Town Hall

By Hank Russell

U.S. Congressman Nick LaLota (R-Rocky Point) is hosting a tele-town hall meeting on March 5 at 6 p.m. The virtual meeting will give local constituents to ask him important questions and speak their minds on certain topics.

During the discussion, LaLota will provide updates on his latest accomplishments, including efforts to strengthen the economy, support local veterans and improve public safety. More importantly, he says, he will be answering questions live.

According to LaLota, this is the 21st town hall meeting he has hosted as a congressman.

“I know Long Islanders have a lot on their minds — the crisis at the southern border, my fight for a higher SALT (State and Local Taxes) cap, the national debt and federal spending cuts, the budget resolution and reconciliation process, my stance on protecting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, the latest on Ukraine and national security,” LaLota said. “This town hall is your opportunity to hear directly from me and share what’s important to you.”
