Suffolk County officers arrested a man for selling cannabis products at a Ridge store.
On February 17 at about 8:05 p.m., after community complaints, officers performed a compliance check at Koncept Smoke Shop, located at 135 Middle Country Road, where an employee sold cannabis to an undercover police officer. Four other businesses were checked and in obedience to the law.
Ezaz Mohammad, 40, of Coram, is charged with unlawful sale of cannabis and unauthorized sale of cannabis products without a license. He was let go on a desk appearance ticket and is expected to be arraigned at First District Court.
