A driver was found dead inside his car that was submerged in a body of water in Oyster Bay.
On February 13 at 8:10 a.m., a Town of Oyster Bay employee saw a 2025 Kia submerged in a body of water located at the Theodore Roosevelt Park and Marina. Second Precinct Police Officers responded to the scene and located an unresponsive 57-year-old adult male victim inside the vehicle. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Nassau County Police Paramedics.
The investigation is ongoing.
