Three men were injured in a two-car crash in Yaphank.
On January 28, a 2020 Audi Q5 was traveling east on Longwood Road when the car hit a 2019 Ram pickup truck that was traveling south on the William Floyd Parkway at 1:32 p.m.
The driver and passenger of the Audi were brought to Long Island Community Hospital in critical condition. Their identities are being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The driver of the Ram pickup truck, Scott Jacobsen, 59, of Medford, was brought to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead and treated for minor injuries.
Both cars were impounded for a safety check. Detectives ask anyone with information to contact the Seventh Squad at 631-852-8752.
