Port Jefferson Station Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash

Suffolk County Police Sixth Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash during which a Port Jefferson Station man was killed in Coram.

Timothy McGreevey was driving a 2019 GMC Sierra pickup northbound on County Road 83 when his truck collided with a 2018 Ford Mustang traveling northbound on Route 112. The Mustang struck two other vehicles on County Road 83 before coming to a stop. The Sierra struck a van that was stopped in the turning lane on County Road 83.

The operator of the Mustang, David Black, 85, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. McGreevey, 35, of Rocky Point, and the drivers of the other vehicles were not injured.

The Ford Mustang and GMC Sierra were impounded for a safety check.
