Valley Stream Woman Arrested for Grand Larceny

A Valley Stream woman has been arrested for a grand larceny after falsifying billing records between March 2023 and January 2024 in Westbury.

According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an investigation led to the arrest of Kimberly Clarke, 44, of 85 Lotus Oval S, a former employee of Family of Kidz located at 1400 Old Country Road. Clarke, acting in her capacity as a licensed special instructions therapist, forged multiple signatures. She billed Family of Kidz for 52 sessions that she never provided and forged five parents’ signatures a total of 52 times, on official Nassau County documents, causing a loss of $2,886. Following the investigation, Clarke was arrested without incident on November 14.

Clarke was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny, 12 counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and 13 counts of first-degree falsifying of business records. She was arraigned on November 14 at First District Court in Hempstead.
