A pedestrian has been hospitalization after suffering serious injuries he sustained from being struck by a vehicle on a Hicksville street.
On November 13, a 64-year-old male was operating a 2005 Nissan pickup truck southbound on Jerusalem Avenue in the vicinity of Nelson Avenue when he hit a 59-year-old male pedestrian who was crossing the road. The pedestrian sustained numerous injuries and was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained at scene. No other injuries were reported.
