Nassau County Legislators Debra Mulé (D-Freeport) and Scott M. Davis (D-Rockville Centre) celebrated the newest chapter of the Oceanside Library by joining the staff, Board of Trustees and Friends of the Library in welcoming the first books to their new building on October 6. The books were moved from its temporary location to its new permanent location on Davidson Avenue.

“It was so inspiring to see so many people from the community participate in this special moment,” Mulé said. “A huge thank you to everyone who volunteered and worked so hard to organize this event—it truly showcased the heart of the Oceanside community. I’m beyond excited for the opening of the new library and all the opportunities it will bring.”
