A Hicksville man has been arrested for assaulting two officers in a mall parking lot.
On October 3, at 10 a.m., Nassau County Eighth Squad Officers responded to the parking lot of Broadway Plaza located at 520 S. Broadway for a disturbance. Upon arrival, officers located Justin Jose George, 27 of 3 Eton Lane who immediately became aggressive towards the responding officers. Two officers sustained injuries during the course of the arrest as George was violent and combative while resisting arrest. George and the two injured officers were all transported to a nearby hospital for assessment and treatment.
George was charged with two counts of second-degree assault, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He will be arraigned once his medical condition improves.
