Five Arrests for Prostitution Made in Bellmore and Wantagh

Three women were arrested on charges of prostitution at a Bellmore business, and two more were arrested on the same charges in Wantagh.

According to Nassau County Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives, an undercover investigation was conducted on September 5 at 2:50 p.m. at SPA, located at 2556 Merrick Road in Bellmore. It was determined illegal massages and prostitution were being conducted at this location.

Narcotics/Vice Squad detectives placed Jholdana Rojas, 37, of 291 12th Avenue, Paterson New Jersey; Youchun Zhang, 49, of 2556 Merrick Road, Bellmore; and Shaoyu Xiong, 36, of 137-75 Geranium Avenue, Flushing under arrest without incident.

Rojas and Zhang were both charged with unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution. Xiong was charged with prostitution.

Later that day, at 4:20 p.m., detectives conducted an undercover investigation at Thai Spa, located at 1436 Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh. It was also determined that illegal massages and prostitution took place at this location.

Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives placed Defendant Ling Li, 32, of 5105 8th Avenue, Brooklyn and Lifen Luo, 45, of 264 Woodbury Road, Woodbury under arrest without incident.

Li was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution. Luo was charged with fourth-degree promoting prostitution.

All five defendants were each released on appearance tickets and were required to return to First District Court in Hempstead on September 30.
