Suffolk County Police arrested a man after he shot and killed another man in Brentwood.
Third Precinct officers responded to a call reporting a man shot in front of 178 Charter Oaks Ave., on August 30 at 6 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located the victim.
Joshua E. Jasmin, 30, of 55 Stone Ave., North Babylon, was transported via Brentwood Legion Ambulance to South Shore University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Following an investigation, Romeo Campbell, 23, of 178 Charter Oaks Ave., Brentwood, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder. He was held overnight and scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on August 31.
