Secretary of State Marco Rubio issued a crucially important speech designed to spark international cooperation to fight against far-left terrorism spreading throughout the world.
Rubio brilliantly laid out how this Marxist network is coordinating to create havoc in various parts of the world to destroy Western civilization. He noted further how these anarchists are supported (or at least tolerated) by the mainstream media, academia and various legacy institutions within the West.
Rubio warned that support for the leftist scourge is so embedded within the media that his very speech, and the meeting the dignitaries were attending, would be blackballed by the media as being right-wing conspiracy talk.
He had already been proven correct. The speech itself was covered by conservative outfits, such as Fox News and Newsmax, but ignored by CNN and MS NOW (formerly MSNBC).
Rubio also lashed out against the International Criminal Court, which seeks to impose international sanctions on American companies, citizens, soldiers and government officials. Good for Rubio on making it clear we Americans will never subordinate ourselves to these self-righteous, leftist, agenda-driven bureaucrats.
His timing was exquisite, given that New York City’s communist mayor, Zohran Mamdani, just called for the arrest of Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu for alleged war crimes that Mamdani and the international tribunal claimed he committed. (Never mind that Israel was defending itself from Hamas terrorists who were murdering their citizens.)
This is right up the worldwide Communist revolutionaries’ alley: Eliminate national borders and local control and national self-determination and sovereignty. Replace it with a centralized decision-making bureau in another part of the world that would dictate American policy and behavior.
A starker contrast of worldwide views is hard to find. On one side is Mamdani and the communists seeking to make America compliant to corrupt sheiks, Marxists, Islamists and European elites halfway around the world, and on the other is Rubio, who declares that we Americans will never submit our decision-making to these faceless oligarchs.
This dichotomy isn’t abstract. It will come before us this November in the midterms. Choose wisely.
