Something alarmingly unconstitutional and un-American is becoming vogue throughout the nation. Various woke prosecutors are now blatantly calling for sentences against illegal aliens or people of color to be more lenient than they would against any other American.
Some prosecutors in New York and Virginia are deliberately calling for the downgrading of charges against illegal immigrants for the fear that their conviction would trigger a deportation.
Other prosecutors suggest that people of color be given a lighter sentence after being convicted because of the alleged additional challenges they faced during their lifetime.
As was said by Justice Roberts in a case years ago, the best way to stop discrimination based on race is to stop discriminating based on race.
