Watching thousands upon thousands of North Africans storm the beaches of southern Spain in an illegal immigration invasion harkens us back to the hordes of illegal immigrants that were welcomed into the country in the United States during the Biden years.
One has to ask: why would any nation welcome such an invasion?
Now that the dust has settled, it’s pretty darn clear the leftists’ political elites in America and in Europe are purposely waving in millions of illegal aliens with the expectation that these newcomers will become part of their political base, helping to ensure them a continued hold on power in the years to come.
They fully recognize the deleterious impact these waves of illegal immigrants will have on their present citizens, but they do it anyway because of their lust for power.
In Biden‘s case, it was one of the greatest betrayals of the American people in the history of our Republic.
THE POLITICAL PARTY DEMOGRAPHIC SHIFT
Over the last decade, there’s been a seismic shift in political party demographics. Republicans were once, at least perceived to be, the party of the rich Wall Street donors and the upper crust, while Democrats were the advocates for working men and women.
But Bill Clinton‘s open markets, via NAFTA and World Trade Organization status to China, prioritized those invested in stocks over those working and middle-class folks in the heartland who were decimated by the implosion of our industrial base that was shipped overseas.
Donald Trump capitalized on this and made these disaffected folks part of his new Republican base. Meanwhile, Clinton, and the Democrats who followed, made highly educated, well-off folks invested in stock their prime constituency.
They thereafter found out that the coalition put together by Obama — single women, youth and minorities — was not enough to help them win elections after Trump siphoned off the White working class. Rather than addressing the concerns of those jobless and underperforming Americans, the Democrats maintained their alliance with the uber-wealthy, highly educated Whites and sought to import millions of illegal immigrants who they would immediately place on public assistance, making them dependent on Democratic handouts to survive.
THE NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION
They also envision taking back power and granting amnesty to these tens of millions of illegal aliens, whom they believe will reward them with their votes.
The wave of illegal Immigration has had a daunting effect on our nation.
American citizens now wait hours to get care at an emergency room, in part, because of the strain placed on these centers by the illegal population.
A federal study concluded that 20% of rent increases, and 30% of home price increases have been attributable over the last few years to the strain on the housing market placed by the millions of newcomers that Biden welcomed in.
Our schools are being flooded with immigrant children, not speaking English and requiring special needs, thereby straining the local tax base and taking teachers’ time away from the children of American citizens.
Taxpayers are left holding the bag for providing housing, healthcare and even free college tuition for these illegal migrants.
That significant spike in spending led to 20% inflation over the Biden years, which forced the Federal Reserve to hike interest rates from a level just over 2% in the Trump years to 6.5% in the Biden administration, and continuing to this date.
For a person taking a $500,000 mortgage, those increased rates equate to a $14,000 additional payment every year for housing.
Meanwhile, there have been thousands of unnecessary murders, rapes and assaults committed by those individuals who should not be here in the first place.
And yet, Democratic officials work day and night to prevent even the most hardened criminals from being deported. Their hope is to wait out the Trump administration and thereafter provide amnesty and to reopen the border on a level seen in Spain today.
SPAIN’S LEFTISTS ASKED FOR THE SURGE
While the immigration wave of 60,000 North Africans last week was precipitated by a Spanish court decision that said immigrants entering Spain by sea get more due process than those coming by land, the immigration flow was encouraged by the words and policies of the Spanish Marxist Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez.
His own remarks underscore that he is copying the actions of the Biden far left in the United States.
An August 1 NPR article notes that Sánchez “recently approved residency and work permits for hundreds of thousands of eligible undocumented migrants living in Spain. The government reported receiving over a million applications.”
Here are just some of his comments that sent the message that these immigrant surges would be welcome:
- “Spain needs to choose between being an open and prosperous country or a closed-off, poor country.” (The Guardian, October 9, 2024).
- “Throughout history, migration has been one of the great drivers of the development of nations, while hatred and xenophobia have been — and continue to be –– the greatest destroyer of nations. The key is in managing it well,” said Sánchez, according to a report in Britain’s Guardian newspaper.
- Sánchez told Parliament that Spanish people were the “children of emigration, we are not going to be the parents of xenophobia.”
- “I want citizens to understand that this is not a battle between Spaniards and foreigners, or Christians and Muslims or saints and criminals. It is a battle between truth and lies, between stories and data, between what is in the interests of our society and the interests of a few who see fear and hatred of foreigners as their only path to power.”
DEMONIZE THE OPPOSITION AS RACIST
Both the Democrats in America and the socialists and communists in Europe follow the same playbook: paint themselves as humanitarians, and those wanting legal borders as racist xenophobes.
This works because, in both America and in western Europe, the left-wing media is so pronounced. They back up these leftists and their faux humanitarianism, while defining those wanting border control as being “far right” bigots.
But we know Sanchez‘s motives are not humanitarian. He wants to bring in as many new Muslims as possible because they are falling in line behind the red/green
alliance between the red communists and the green Islamists, which continues to be a major political force in many of these nations.
THE IMPACT ON CHANGING POLICY
In England, fewer than 300,000 Jews remain, while immigration has swelled the Muslim population by millions. They now constitute almost 15% of the Greater London area. That has led to a seismic shift in British policy for the Middle East and the barbarians in Hamas.
It also led to the socialist government in Britain looking the other way as roaming Pakistani gangs raped white English citizens because they were afraid of offending their new political base or having someone call them racist. It further led them to Britain unilaterally recognizing a state of Palestine without any concession from the Palestinians that they would recognize the state of Israel.
These new immigrant enclaves are becoming the tails that wag the dog in these nations. They don’t constitute a majority, but they are a significant enough minority that they can sway an election at any point. Many claim that Kamala Harris lost Michigan because the radical Muslim base there refused to vote for her and instead put in a blank vote as a protest because even Biden and Harris were not anti-Israel enough.
Europe now has Sharia Law imposed in many Muslim areas.
We are even seeing how these leftists are aligning themselves far less with the liberal democracies in America and Europe, and are pledging their allegiance to communists in Cuba and China. Leftist influencer Hasan Piker holds China’s former dictator and mass murderer Mao Zedong as a role model.
How did this ever happen and why is the left in Europe continuing to mount the suicidal campaign? The answer may indeed be because the socialists and communists want old Europe and present-day America eviscerated. They actually want it torn down so they could rebuild it in their Marxist image.
The unfortunate part is that commonsense, moderate voices within the Democratic Party in America, and on the left in Europe, have now become reliant on these illegal immigrant enclaves, and the legal Muslim vote, within their borders. If these folks splintered off into their own party, the left will not have enough votes to hold off the right-of-center parties.
THE LEFT NEEDS THE NEW ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT BASE
The conservatives in Britain provide the prototype that the left is now trying to avoid. There were two factions within the Conservatives of England — one run by Nigel Farage of the Reform Party and another by the more establishment-oriented Conservatives. Because they split, the Labour Party has now been empowered for several years. The left’s fear is that, by kicking out either the red communists or the green Islamists, they will be splintering themselves, allowing the conservatives to re-emerge.
So the old adage comes into play: If you can’t beat them, join them. The left under Sànchez in Spain, just as the left here in America, have now joined forces with the communists and the illegal immigration invaders.
IS IT TOO LATE?
Who wins this battle will determine whether America and Europe as we’ve known them for centuries remain in place, or if they are resigned to the dustbin of history.
Does anyone with an ounce of common sense believe that, if Democrats retake control in America, the massive border invasions along our southern border won’t return and mirror what’s happening now in Spain?
