Our founding fathers, with a deep understanding of human nature, did a remarkable job in planning for narcissistic, all-powerful, corrupt bureaucrats like diary writer extraordinaire Anthony Fauci.
In retrospect, with all the left-wing caterwauling about “threats to democracy,” Tony’s own self-loving musings demonstrated it was their hero/savior who was truly a danger to our life, liberty, and property.
So what saved the nation from perhaps an even greater economic collapse? It was free market federalism, written into the Constitution by our brilliant founders.
Missing from “The Fouch’s” daily recollections was any positive mention of courageous states and their leaders who were successfully taking paths opposite those prescribed by this mad doctor. Although Florida Governor Ron DeSantis did rate some noteworthy words. Fauci called him “a jerk.”
But DeSantis and fellow red-state chief executives had and continue to have the last, hearty, economic laugh. Fauci’s policies dominated California and New York. Those crippling regulations led to the loss of hundreds of thousands of residents and slower economic growth. Meanwhile, liberty-loving states, such as Florida and Texas, have been welcoming those weary travelers into their booming, freedom-fueled, robust economies.
The Lone Star State added nearly 2.5 million residents since 2020, representing the largest raw population increase in the country. The Sunshine State placed second, increasing its numbers by an estimated 1.87 million residents over the same period.
How ironic that fallen Democrat icon and mini-tyrant, Anthony Fauci, unwittingly wound up proving through his scurrilous misdeeds that our governing system, designed to promote free market federalism, was the cure to top-down despotism.
