Brookhaven Town Supervisor Daniel J. Panico joined veterans, community members and supporters on June 28 for the unveiling of the LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum’s newly installed Black Hawk helicopter, a powerful tribute to the courage, sacrifice and legacy of the men and women who have served our nation.
During the ceremony, Panico presented the museum with a $5,000 donation on behalf of the town. Approved by the Brookhaven Town Board, the contribution will support the museum’s ongoing mission to preserve the history of the United States Navy SEALs through artifacts, immersive exhibits, educational programming and interactive displays that educate and inspire future generations.
The LT Michael P. Murphy Navy SEAL Museum stands as a lasting reminder of the extraordinary service and sacrifice of our nation’s heroes. The Town of Brookhaven extends its gratitude to Daniel Murphy, Museum Manager Donna Donahue and everyone involved in hosting the ceremony and for their continued commitment to honoring those who have defended our freedoms.
