Two people were rescued from the water in Seaford after their jet ski capsized.
On August 9 at 6:11 p.m., a 911 call was received for reports of an overturned jet ski with two people in the water near Great Island Channel. Upon arrival, Nassau County Marine Bureau Officers were met by a Good Samaritan who had just assisted in getting both men out of the water.
Nassau County Marine Bureau officers transported the jet skiers back to the Treasure Island Marina, where they were met by patrol officers and a Nassau County Police Ambulance. The operator of the jet ski was transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment, where he is currently listed in stable condition. The passenger refused medical attention.
