Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating after a toddler was found unresponsive in a pool this morning.
On June 27, a family member found the two-year-old boy unresponsive in an inground pool at his Mastic Beach home at 11:17 a.m. The family member removed him from the water and began CPR. Police responded and continued CPR until Mastic Beach Volunteer Ambulance personnel arrived.
The toddler was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition.
