Suffolk County Police Seventh Squad detectives are investigating after a toddler was found unresponsive in a pool in Mastic Beach.
A 2-year-old girl was found unresponsive in a pool at her home, located on Mill Drive,on July 20 at approximately 4:50 p.m. The child was removed from the pool and a family member performed CPR until first responders arrived.
The toddler was transported to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue in critical condition. She was then transported to Stony Brook University Hospital.
