Police Rescue Three People After Jet Ski Capsizes

Suffolk County Police Marine Bureau officers rescued three people after their watercraft capsized in the  Great South Bay. 

A father and his two children were riding a jet ski in the Great South Bay on August 2, when the watercraft hit a wave. The jet ski capsized, causing all three to be thrown into the water at approximately 3:55 p.m. 

A witness called 911 and Officers Keith Miller and Robert King aboard Marine Juliet and Officers Gary  Quenzer and Chad Murray aboard Marine Mike responded. They deployed life rings and pulled  Christopher Cruise, 31, Isabella Donoghue, 16, and Christopher Cruise, 10, out of the water.  

The three individuals, who were wearing life jackets, were not injured.
