Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a man who drowned in his backyard pool in Islip Terrace.
On August 9, a friend called 911 after discovering Seamus McGuickian unresponsive in the pool at approximately 3:15 p.m. McGuickian, 64, was pulled from the water and pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives believe the incident is non-criminal.
