Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the death of a 3-year-old who was found unresponsive in a swimming pool.
On July 24, a three-year-old boy was found unresponsive in a swimming pool during a party in Central Islip at approximately 8:15 p.m. The child, who lived in Brentwood, was attending the party with family members. Two family members found him and pulled him from the pool.
The child was transported via ambulance to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, where he was pronounced dead.
