Enjoy two more evenings of fireworks and daily family entertainment, midway rides & favorite fare food
The fireworks don’t have to end with the Fourth of July — at least, not on Long Island.
There are still two more opportunities to enjoy spectacular Fireworks by Grucci shows at the Empire State Fair on the remaining Saturday nights, July 11 and July 18.
Already this summer, six dazzling displays of color and light have illuminated the night sky over Long Island at three annual signature events (including Bald Hill Fair in Farmingville and Long Island FunFest in Brentwood), all produced by Dreamland Amusements, a family-owned and -operated Long Island-based carnival midway and family entertainment provider.
The pyrotechnic extravaganzas are presented by world-renowned Fireworks by Grucci, a sixth-generation, family-owned and -operated company founded in 1850 and also based on Long Island.
Bob DeStefano, who owns Dreamland Amusements with his wife Kathy and runs it with several family members, said Dreamland is proud of its longtime partnership with Fireworks by Grucci.
“We’re both family businesses that share a commitment to providing an exceptional experience to other families,” DeStefano said.
The Empire State Fair will feature live entertainment to midway rides for all ages (including a towering 110-foot-tall Ferris wheel), and plenty of tantalizing carnival eats.
Fair parking is free and admission includes a variety of first-rate family entertainment, including:
- Circus Murcia (edge-of-your-seat high-wire, aerial and Globe of Death thrill acts, jugglers and clowns)
- Aqua Live Spectacular (water stunt show featuring enchanting aerialist mermaids and more)
- jaw-dropping Big Bee Transforming Robot Car
- The Magic of America (patriotic magic show)
- Sandlofer Family Educational Petting Zoo
Admission is $10 (free for kids under 36″ tall). Unlimited ride wristbands (for riders 36″ and taller) are $42 on site ($40 cash price). Visit the website for online savings on rides.
Fair hours are from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. weekdays and noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday through July 19 at Nassau Coliseum, located at 1255 Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale.
