Nassau County police are looking for three men who allegedly burglarized a residence in East Hills.
On June 22 at 3:49 a.m., Sixth Squad officers responded to a Melby Lane residence for a disturbance. A 38-year- old woman was inside her home when she was alerted by a garage door alarm leading into the main floor. The victim went downstairs and saw two unknown males in her kitchen. The victim screamed for help and then the unknown males fled out of the rear kitchen door.
The suspects left in an unknown direction in an unknown vehicle. An investigation revealed three unknown suspects walked up the victim’s driveway and rummaged through her vehicle prior to entering the home. Further investigation revealed that approximately $1,000 in cash was removed from the victim’s house.
No injuries were reported at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
