A Rockville Centre man has been arrested for a series of robberies in Nassau County.
According to Major Case detectives, Brian Quinn, 50, was allegedly responsible for the following incidents:
- April 19 – A Grand Larceny at A Plus Auto Technician, located at 2143 Grand Avenue, Baldwin, where the defendant allegedly test drove a 2011 BMW without returning it.
- April 20 – An Attempted Robbery at Chase Bank, located at 3285 Long Beach Road, Oceanside, where the defendant entered the bank and allegedly demanded money from the teller who refused to comply.
- April 22 – A Robbery at Flagstar Bank located at 6199 Sunrise Highway, Massapequa, where the defendant passed a noteto the teller demanding money, who, in fear for their life, complied before the defendant fled the scene.
After a thorough investigation, Quinn was located and placed under arrest without incident. He is charged with Robbery in the Third Degree, Attempted Robbery in the Third Degree and Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. He was arraigned on April 24 at First District Court in Hempstead.
