Suffolk County Police arrested a man who allegedly stole automated license plate readers from an intersection in Shirley.
Miguel Perez allegedly stole two Axon automated license plate readers from Moriches-Middle Island Road near Glen Drive on August 2 at approximately 6:40 p.m. He was arrested on August 3 on Carnation Drive, Shirley, at approximately 5 p.m.
Perez, 68, of Shirley, was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. He was issued a Desk Appearance Ticket and will be arraigned on a later date.
