Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding a Bellport woman who was found injured in a vehicle in Yaphank this morning, and later died.
Police found Juliann Bachmann injured and unresponsive in a vehicle at the Speedway gas station, located at 80A Horseblock Road, on May 16 at approximately 7:25 a.m. Bachmann, 30, was transported to NYU Langone Hospital – Suffolk in Patchogue, where she was pronounced dead.
Following a preliminary investigation, detectives believe the cause of death to be criminal.
