Pair Arrested for Allegedly Making $175K in Fraudulent Returns at BJ’s

Two men were arrested for grand larceny after allegedly making multiple fraudulent returns over a three-month period in Valley Stream.

According to Nassau County Detectives with the Electronics Squad Fraud and Forgery Unit, Ranaldo Davis, 19, of Rosedale, and Marquis Johnson, 31, of Westbury, were both employees of BJ’s, located at 125 Green Acres Road South. Between January 13 and April 12,  the defendants, while acting in concert, made many fraudulent returns totaling approximately $175,000. They were arrested on April 14 without incident.

Davis and Johnson were both charged with Grand Larceny in the Second Degree and Falsifying Business Records in the First Degree. They will be arraigned on April 15 at First District Court in Hempstead.
