Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a man in North Bay Shore.
Four people were traveling in a vehicle on Stein Drive and Belgrave Avenue on June 7 at approximately 3:30 p.m., when multiple people exited another vehicle and fired shots into their car, striking a 21-year-old man.
The driver of the vehicle the victim was in flagged down a police officer on 5th Avenue. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
